For five years we have prayed and searched for a place to create out outreach center. A coffee shop style place for people to relax, surf the net, listen to live music, connect and have spiritual conversations with friends, family and strangers. We have dreamed of a place downtown Rochester, that has plenty of parking, great signage and easy access. It has been very hard to find all of things, plus having it be a place that we could put some blood, sweat and tears into.
Well today I believe that God showed us the place.
Everything on our dream list and more!
The possibilities are unbelievable!
Today, begins a new chapter in prayer, focused research and planning.
I believe that there are times that God provides the amazing and he wants to jump in.
As far as I and the other Directors can see, this is the place and we need to jump with God.
The Journey Cafe may not be far from reality!
Dreams are just dreams until you step into them.
I pray, that we step into this and God provides over and above what we could ever ask or imagine!

I talked to day with Mark Batterson (Pastors of church in Washington DC) that runs a great outreach coffee shop ministry as a part of their church.
Mark was excitred about the details of our possible site. Plans are underway to visit DC, learn more about the details of the their ministry... good things to try and bad things to avoid.

The picture is coming into real focus.
Praying for this opprotunity to become reality and for God's spirit to pour itself all over it and us as we move forward.
The letter of intent has been sent off to the management firm. Now we continue to pray and wait the relpy. Man am I excited and nervous!
Today I received a call back from the local management firm that is looking to lease the site where we are hoping to put our coffee shop at.
We are now the lead candidate to take over this location.... BIG YEAH GOD!
Continue to pray with us as we move forward with a more formal business plan and seek to gain committed investors into this exciting new ministry.
I am continued contact with NCC church in Washingto DC that runs a coffee shop called Ebenezers. They are a valuable resource and are being very generous with their time and information.
What a blessing to have such a resource in the Kingdom family.
This is only step 2 in the process, but now that we are the lead canidate for the site, we must continue to pray, seek God, be proactive in our planning and goals.

Pray, pray, pray
Frustrating fact of life... I may have jumped the tracks some on how the vison has morphed, grown and changed. It was not intentional. It was not meant to leave anyone in the dust or have people feel assumed upon. Just a fact of life as a vision driven person, that wants to go big for God and see the amazing happen... I may have been too far out ahead of people.
I really can frustrate myself sometimes.
